Powerful Men’s Rally at Colonial
Saturday, October 24th, was a very special night at Colonial Baptist Church for our men. One hundred fifty-four men from area churches, and Colonial, gathered to seek God together. The singing was Christ-honoring and lively, the fellowship was sweet, and the preaching was powerful and heart-stirring. Many men flocked to the front of the church in response to Evangelist’s Tom Farrell’s message on “Spiritual success.”
I went forward at the invitation as my heart was struck with conviction about areas in my life screaming for Godly improvement. Some of those areas included making more God-honoring and specific goals as a Father, husband, and student of the Word. I told the Lord that I would be making specific goals to improve in these areas for my good and for His glory!
This rally wets our appetite, men, for more of the same soul-stirring preaching and music at the Men’s Prayer Advance, January 28th-30th, 2010. Men, would you consider joining me as we seek to be the Godly men that our God expects us to be!
